 A set of 2 first editions and one signed reprint, published by Heinemann in 1960, 1962 and 1971 respectively. All books are very good. 'Friends and Heros' signed by the author, no dust jacket but in very good condition and with no inscriptions. Very faint foxing to closed pages. The dust jacket of 'The Great Fortune’ is good with a little chipping and rubbing and clipped. The dust jacket of 'The Spoilt City’ is good with a little chipping and rubbing and protected by a plastic sleeve. – stain to the front panel of the second volume. Spotting to the page edge of 'Spoilt City' and inscription to front inside board. A very nice set with the benefit of one being signed.
